The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Candie A. Starr as the new Chief Executive Officer for Lincoln Health System (LHS). Starr assumed her new role on July 10th and will be responsible for establishing the strategic direction of and providing executive leadership for the overall operation for LHS.
Starr has over 23 years of progressive and high-level healthcare experience with strengths in strategic leadership, business development, physician relations and project management. Her depth of knowledge in healthcare markets, executive leadership and focus on providing high-quality patient-focused care is in keeping with the mission and vision of the LHS. She began her career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and has spent the past 6 years serving in a CEO/Chief Operating Officer/Consultant capacity. She possesses a Master of Healthcare Administration from American Intercontinental University, GA and a Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Medicine from West Liberty College in West Virginia.

Ms. Starr will be moving to Fayetteville with her husband, Jim. They have been married for 26 years and have two daughters, Rachael 25 and Ashley 23, who both graduated from Middle Tennessee State University.
