As we age, parts of life may become more difficult and one spouse may lean on the other for day to day care and assistance.  Being able to care for your spouse at home is wonderful, but what happens if the primary caregiver becomes sick, needs surgery, or requires a short stay in the hospital?  This is where respite care can become a life saver. So what is Respite Care?  It is temporary care of a dependent person providing relief to their usual caregiver.

Lincoln and Donalson Care Centers offer respite care with a quick and easy move in process to ease the transition.  We can provide care for a few days or a few weeks,  serving as an excellent option for older adults who require a little extra assistance for day to day living.  We will provide daily support and help with activities such as taking medications, bathing, and getting dressed.  Meals are provided three times per day, allowing options from our delicious menu.  Staff including highly trained nursing professionals are available 24 hours per day.

The ‘move – in ‘  process is easy.  Fully furnished rooms complete with cable television are ready and waiting and our staff will provide you with a checklist of items to bring with you.   Checking in on your loved one is easy too – they are just a phone call or email away!

As a community owned health care system, we strive to serve the residents of Lincoln County by offering affordable rates and payment plans while accepting most insurances.  In fact, our Assisted Living respite care daily rates start at only $100 for comprehensive care.  Our staff will be glad to speak with you about insurance coverage and out of pocket costs.
