Class Descriptions

The Patrick offers a wide variety of classes for every fitness and age level.  Class times are posted on our class schedule on a monthly basis.  We also offer seasonal sports classes such as baseball and softball lessons, swim lessons, and lifeguard certification classes.  There is something for everyone at Patrick!

Morning Splash with Kim 

This class uses the resistance of water for exercise.  Great for post-rehab and maternity participants.  This class is excellent for all exercise levels and ages.

Total Body Water with Beth 

This class uses the resistance of water for strengthening and cardiovascular exercise for a total body workout.  You will use water dumbbells and noodles as needed.  This upbeat class is great for all skill levels.

Tab-Aqua with Kim

This water aerobics class follows the format of tabata and 20/10 intervals.  A great, quick paced workout suitable for all skill levels.

Silver Strength with Kim 

Exercises are designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activities of daily living.  Weights, tubing, and balls are offered for resistance.  A chair can be used for seated and/or standing support.  This class is open to ALL members, not just Silver Sneakers members.

Total Body Tabata with Kim

Tabata is a form of high-intensity interval training with a focus on cardiovascular fitness and/or muscular strength. Work intervals are typically 20-60 seconds with short periods of rest ranging from 10-20 seconds.

Circuit with Beth

Incorporates aerobic work and toning to burn calories and strengthen muscle groups.  Finish the class with core and flexibility training.  This class will give your body a total body workout!

15-minute Flexibility with Kim 

Stop and Stretch! 15 minutes is all it takes.  All fitness levels are welcome.

Yoga with Heather or Teresa

A blend of yoga and pilates.  All poses can be modified to meet the needs of every student.

PiYo with Paula 

A combination of strength based Pilates and stretch based yoga poses creates a fun, full body workout.

Tone and Tabata with Kim 

Tone up using a variety of tools including Bosu balls, stability balls, resistance bands, dumbbells, and your own body weight.  You will feel the burn and finish with 5 rounds of Tabata intervals to make you sweat!

Black Jack with Liz

Luck 21! 21 exercises times 21 reps equal a winning hand sure to build strength, endurance, and fat loss.

Pyramid Intervals with Vicki

Pyramid intervals follow a timed set and blend it with a pyramid structure used with a repetition based strength routine incorporating a variety of functional exercises.  Great for all fitness levels!

Dance Fit with Biya 

Dance Fit is a fun and energetic class following dance steps with a variety of music to work the whole body.  No dance skills are needed for this class.
