The Lincoln County Health System Foundation has chosen the Patrick Rehab and Wellness Center as their fundraising project for the year. The Patrick will be receiving a circular drive as part of their upcoming facelift. Efforts are also ongoing to add a canopy as well.
“The new drive is a very exciting addition to the Patrick,” states Gloria Meadows, Patrick Administrator.
“We have many rehab patients who use our facility on a daily basis. If we can make it more convenient for patients to complete their rehabilitation then we are helping to enhance their recovery process. I am delighted that the Foundation chose to use this facility for their fundraising efforts.”
The Lincoln County Health System Foundation is an organization whose purpose is to pursue important community health care needs. The cost of providing quality health care continues to increase at rapid levels. The Lincoln County Health System strives to maintain the latest technological advances, as well as staying up-to-date with the changing community needs and continual demand to upgrade and improve equipment and services. The Foundation helps in meeting those needs through fundraising with involvement and service to the community. Over the past ten years the Foundation has raised money for items such as the accredited chest pain center, a new bus for the care centers, and their most recent project was donating $30,000 to help purchase a new ambulance.
Lincoln paving will begin work on the drive in the upcoming months. They will also repave the parking lot. Other improvements throughout the course of the year will include painting, pressure washing, and carpeting.
