As part of Lincoln Health System’s (LHS) commitment to provide quality health care to the Lincoln County community, the health system has announced its plans to open a new orthopedic surgery practice, Lincoln Medical Group Orthopedic Associates with orthopedic surgeon, Robert A. Beasley, MD and orthopedic nurse practitioner, Ryan Parton, FNP-BC.
The decision to open the new practice comes after the recent announcement that Dr. LeRoy Gurganious of Premier Orthopedic Associates will be leaving the community upon the completion of his contracted term which ends on November 15, 2019. Lincoln Medical Group’s new practice will open in the same location on Monday, November 18, 2019, providing uninterrupted orthopedic care and coverage for Fayetteville and Lincoln County.
“Dr. Beasley and Ryan will be great assets to the health system and Lincoln County in general, said Lincoln Health System’s interim Chief Executive Officer, Russ Spray. “Quality orthopedic care is essential in a rural community like ours, and Dr. Beasley’s near 37 years of experience and vast scope of practice will serve Lincoln County well.”
Dr. Beasley attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopeadic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (FAAOS). Dr. Beasley started his orthopedic career in 1983 in Cleveland, Tennessee, and has been practicing in Tullahoma since 2010.
Ryan Parton, FNP-BC received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as his Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has been practicing as an orthopedic nurse practitioner since 2011 in Huntsville, AL, and Winchester, TN.
LMG Orthopedic Associates will provide complete orthopedic care, including total joint replacement of the hips and knees, fracture care and treatment, joint pain and arthritis management, and sports medicine.
“Making sure this community has access to essential specialty care, like orthopedics, is a priority of the health system and its leadership. In order for LHS to sustain, we will need to grow where we can and look for opportunities to provide services that our community members want to receive locally,” added Mr. Spray.
Lincoln Medical Group Orthopedic Associates will be located at 108 Medical Center Boulevard, Suite 100 in Fayetteville. For more information, please call (931) 433-1102.
