New Administrator at Donalson Care Center
Lincoln Health System (LHS) recently announced that Carl Young has been named as the Administrator for Donalson Care Center, the health system’s 168-bed long-term care and short-stay rehabilitation center.
Young took over the leadership position in May and brings more than 25 years of long-term care experience in various capacities. Since 2003 he has served as an administrator for troubled centers and a Regional Director of Operations and oversaw 30 centers in the states of Mississippi and Tennessee. Most recently he served as Administrator and Regional Administrator of CareRight Centers, LLC in Tennessee. He ran the day-to-day operations for Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing and two additional CareRite Centers.
In 2017 he was named the Administrator of the year in the state of Mississippi and served on multiple boards for the state of Mississippi in long-term care.
Carl and his wife, DeAnna, have one daughter, Carlee. Carl said, “We chose to come to Lincoln County because of relationships we already have here and we knew that we wanted to make a difference in the quality of life for the residents here.”
“The leadership team is confident in Carl’s abilities. He has a strong background in long-term care and truly cares for his staff and residents. He has already implemented new changes that will allow us to better serve our residents” said Mary Beth Seals, President of Huntsville Hospital Lincoln Health.
